ICC Awards 2021 Winners

International Cricket Council was founded back in 1909 by representatives from Australia, England, and South Africa. Currently now is working with 105 member nations. It’s headquartered in Dubai, UAE. It is responsible for the organization of all the major international cricket tournaments most importantly the world cups. It is to assign the umpires and referees to all the accredited test matches, one day international and T20s. It disseminates the ICC code of conduct to maintain discipline as well as to take measures against corruption and match-fixing. Above all as a gesture of encouragement towards the dedication, hardworking and enthusiasm of the players ICC holds sports awards annually. It is to acknowledge and honor the best international cricket players of the previous twelve months.

This year’s ICC Award winners are as follows:

  • ICC Umpire of the Year 2021– Marais Erasmus (South Africa):

 

 

 

  • ICC Men’s T20 Player of the Year 2021– Muhammad Rizwan (Pakistan)

  • ICC Women’s T20 Cricketer of the Year 2021– Tammy Beaumont (England)

 

 

  • ICC Emerging Men’s Cricketer of the Year 2021– Janneman Malan (South Africa)

 

  • ICC Emerging Women’s Cricketer of the Year 2021 – Fatima Sana (Pakistan)

 

 

 

  • ICC Men’s Associate Cricketer of the Year 2021 – Zeeshan Maqsood (Oman)

 

  • ICC Women’s Associate Cricketer of the Year 2021– Andrae – Mae – Zepeda (Austria)

 

  • ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year 2021 – Babar Azam (Pakistan)

 

  • ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year 2021 – Lizelle Lee (South Africa)

  • ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year 2021 – Joe Root (England)

  • Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year 2021 – Smriti Mandhana (India)

  • Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year 2021 – Shaheen Afridi (Pakistan)
